Back to traditional yay!

Does anyone remember my first year rat character? Well I just did and decided to doodle him.

And I cannot leave out my noodle girls.


I really missed drawing them. I just don't feel right if I don't have one or ten of them in my sketchbook.

So, that first WIP,

Fail.

Though I'm content with the head, the limbs and the collar didn't turn out the way I was hoping. They are way too chunky and when you try to animate them they are really limited and robotic (oh Flash. What was I expecting?!) I'll probably animate the limbs in TV Paint and leave the main body and the head in flash. But for now, other WIPs!

Boxing Day

I believe it has become more evil than it used to be, especially after being in Square One parking traffic. I believe this drawing can sum up Boxing Day in a nutshell.
Oddly enough Brampton was really empty. Dixie Mall wasn't, but was at least better than Square One. In this one shoe store my dad and I noticed that only people who were standing and looking around were women, while men and children were sitting down and waiting. It was quite funny.

I am probably the biggest female blasphemy since I detest shopping, ESPECIALLY for clothes and shoes.

This just happened

I was ordered to throw away any paper or drawings that I don't want/ need anymore and while doing so I randomly found my highschool math assignments amidst the drawings. I also found a duotang of Grade 11 Biology notes.
Oh and Teodor was trying to chew something off the top of the shelf.

Uuuum, Ray?

I think I wanna try doing a digital painting per day during the winter break, for practice and to make up for lack of drawing I have done.
This is a colour concept I just did today for our group film. My only regret is the size I drew it in. )=

Sketches of Semester 1 Year 3

This is excluding assignments and group projects, which is a very small amount. )=
Some of these I'd really like to photoshop, or possibly animate.

I always manage to draw mermaids per year. XD

I also learned that with Canson sketchbooks scan as fast as possible otherwise everything will smudge. This drawing unfortunately suffered from that.

Action Analysis is due in two weeks. It's somewhat going in the direction I wanted. Still need to fix the jump and lipsynch though. Song is House of Gypsies by Jum Bah Day.

Character Test?

There are constant rumors if we need to do character clean-up in colour or not. I did it anyhow. Since nothing is set in stone yet I decided to try extreme colours. And yes, her shoes are merged with rest of the body.
